Currently reading The God Delusion, I have a question.

Paperback edition page 184, "There are other ways of knowing besides the scientific..."

and page 185 "I am not advocating some sort of narrowly scientistic way of thinking."

but then Richard Dawkins doesn't elaborate on what they are. What kind of thinking is the author talking about?
