Question about Infiltration's Akuma at EVO 2012

So I had attended EVO this year and saw the match live, and literally had my brain blown out of my head with the reactions. Upon coming home, I rewatched the Grand Finals, and noticed that every time he used U1, I didn't see any telegraphing at all. None of the jabs from the input, anything like that.

It's not like he was doing it out of blockstrings either. He was just down-backing it looked like, and Demon would just come out on reaction and eat anything Gamerbee did.

My question then is how the heck does he hide the Ultra so well. Shouldn't we at least be able to see a jab hiding somewhere in there to indicate it's coming, or is there some tech that makes the Ultra "invisible", for lack of a better word?

Any help or knowledge, be it from Akuma players or other, would be super helpful, thanks!
