What I learned about Youtube viewers. (From a Poll I made)
A few months back I posted a poll on Reddit and ended up deleting the post after not thinking it was really right for the SubReddit it was posted in. Now I have realized some people (a few thousand) ended up answering it (I assume the link got posted somewhere else). To get back on track the poll was about "What is preferred on Youtube". I just asked people a few questions about why they used Youtube and what exactly they used it for. Here are the results.
1."How much do you use Youtube a week?" About 60% of Youtubers only use it a few times a week.
2."How often do you post videos?" Again, about 60% of Youtubers don't upload to Youtube ever.
3."How often do you click the like button when you like something?" (Saying that when do you click like for videos that you like and how much do you just ignore it) About 50% of people never click it and the other 50% just like sometimes.
4."Do you hate Trolls?" A whopping 95% of people hate trolls. (Not all that surprising)
5."How often do you subscribe to channels?" 30% of people don't ever subscribe to channels. (That surprising to me)
6."Why do you watch the channels that you do?" 90% of people watch the channels that they do because of the commentator's personality or voice. (People aren't that bad after all)
7."Do you have a channel?" 70% have a channel.
If you are a Youtube commentator I would suggest taking this into consideration. Now we know personality and voice are probably the most important thing on Youtube currently.
I might do more of these polls later only because I found the results so interesting.
