tl;dr Would it be a dick move to have a vow renewal ceremony when I move back to my home state which also happens to be less than 2 months away from my 30+ sister-in-law's first wedding?

The Story: I got engaged in 2007, and then got married in a rush in 2008. My 5th Anniversary is coming up next year, and my husband and I have determined that we want to do vow renewal. Here's why I need some advice from strangers -

My older sister-in-law has not had the best luck of relationships (from the little that she's shared with me), and has found someone she loves and wants to settle down with. She is planning a September wedding for next year.

We want to renew our vows as we were both at vulnerable points in life when we hitched. My family and I were (and still are) on the outs, so I was in emotional turmoil about not having my family there, his family was still recovering from a sudden passing a few weeks earlier. It was actually that death that made us realize that life is too short for us to have a long engagement when there wasn't any intention to plan a big wedding to begin with as there was a difference of religion that we were still sorting out (his family is Roman Catholic, but he wasn't religious, and I'm an atheist, but his parents were pushing for a Roman Catholic traditional wedding). Also, his dad has unstable health because of a heart attack and quadruple bypass that left so little of his heart working, and so we decided to throw a wedding together in four days and get married on our 3rd dating anniversary.

I want to have a real wedding, with real pictures. I haven't regretting getting married when I did, but I regret the way we did. Next year will be a culmination of sorts as we will both be graduating with a bachelors degree, and we will be moving back in state after being gone for 3 years with few visits as we are 2500+ miles away.

Is this insensitive? I don't have a close relationship with my older sister-in-law, and I was never the girl who fantasized about my big white wedding, but I'm sure she has. I don't want to get my hopes up for my own celebration if the consensus is that it would be insensitive and make her day less special. I can push back renewing until some arbitrary time after, but I don't want to wait for my 10th Anniversary either...

Thanks for any that can provide an opinion!
