Swole may not be what the world wants, but rather what it needs

Brethren, gather forth your blender bottles and your peanutbutter jars and listen to my tale.

You've seen it before.

We've all seen it before actually.

The skinny-fat guy at the gym doing various amount of crossfits and weird bosu-ball exercises. Maybe he's even a physical therapist too to boot, so he prances around thinking he knows more than you and the others about exercise.

A preacher of LCHF perhaps, telling you what's healthy and what's not.

"If you lift like that you're going to hurt your joints."

"I can show you couple of core and mobility exercises."

"Don't arch your back when you bench. You'll hurt yourself."

I know some of us have been to gyms such as LA Fitness, Planet Fitness and you've witnessed the horrible personal trainers, giving you shitty advice and looking like untrained bums.

We're aware of this phenomenon. We're aware that swole hate is an up and coming trend.

But brethren, we must not be discouraged. The world will always need our sort. Even if we're always going to be recognized as meatheads from public media we need to press it further, keep going, never stop.

There are kids growing up these days without even knowing the essential of human growth. Kids with the swolesome look in their eyes. They need you, they need you to be that 110kg guy who deadlifts more than triple his weight, they need you to be able to help them out with their form when they fuck up.

We will need to stay strong, not for our own personal sake, but for everyone.

There will always be rough patches in life, and without strong men how are you supposed to carry the weight of the world when it comes falling down on your shoulders?

You've done it before, you've pressed it, you've squatted it, each time even heavier than you ever did before. You've experienced that illuminating feeling when you've set your new PR on a deadlift and you think to yourself: "I have the power to lift the world".

The secret lies in you, there will always be haters, they won't understand the importance. And that's never going to change.

We'll live with the swole hate. Not because we want to or really can do anything about it... But because we can take it.

When you lift your next weight brodin will watch over you and a youth will be inspired to push his limits.

You'll be the hero the world needs.

A swolesome protector.
