am I just oblivious or does this not happen where I live
I was reading a lot of the posts on r/atheism and I noticed that a lot of redditors have encountered many ignorant "Christians" I use the quotes because there are many denominations of christianity
btw I am not an atheist I am a Bible believing Christian but not like the ones many of you seem to have met and I have a lot of friends that aren't Christian actually most of them aren't, my friends are from all walks of life atheists, muslims, buddhist, gay/lesbian, morman, catholic, Jehovah witnesses, athletes, gamers, few hindu
but back to what i really wanted to know has everyone had to deal with "Christians" like these because i have only met like 1 or 2 in my life and most of my friends are atheists and I have asked them how they view me as a Christian, I dont like to offend anyone and like to hear people out and they say they like that I am how they think most Christians should be because I don't just talk about my beliefs or try to enforce them on anyone and if anyone wonders why I am like that its actually because of yes its a quote from the Bible from Matthew 19:19 in the second half it says "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" you know respect and be nice to everyone no matter their race, beliefs, gender or sexuality
I have read the Bible all the way through once and am about half way done with the second time and have only been a Christian since my freshmen year of highschool thats about 4 years
if i did this right i also put a link to the image that got me curious enough to post this
thanks for all of the comments i really liked hearing your opinions and perspectives on this
