MineZ and PvP - Why I just can't enjoy this mod

I step out of spawn and shake the cobwebs from my brain. I get my bearings and start to head towards a nearby building to get some gear.

POW! I'm banned for a minute, dead again. It's even less fun this time than it was the 100 times before this. I've done nothing to enrage or endanger other players, I've hardly even gotten to have any fun with this mod, and I'm getting killed left and right.

Something's got to change.
