Playstation 2 Gaming

I know the PS2 was a pretty large system with several amazing games and game series being released on it. I'm trying to collect the majority of the highlights of its life so I can experience a beautiful era of gaming I was too young to understand when it was happening.

I've bought a Playstation 2 (fat model) and a few games detailed below. I'm planning on heading out to the store again within the week, and was wondering if there are any gems I may have missed out on? Any recommended games from fellow redditors?

I've played through all of the Jak & Daxter games, Final Fantasies, and Silent Hill titles previously while loving all of them. I've never played MGS before (maybe I should get the first one before I start on the second?) and I've never done Hitman before. Heard they were amazing series, just never got to them as a kid. I think I did pretty solid for a start, and I'll definitely pick up anything recommended.

The games I bought are as follows: Jak X: Combat Racing Hitman: Blood Money Hitman: Contracts Metal Gear Solid 2 Ratchet: Deadlocked
