Looking to buy a mouse, any recommendation?

Hey fellow redditors! I'm looking to buy a mouse as a gift for my friend. Are there any recommendation? I'm looking for one with good hand fit and does decently well for gaming. I've heard a few of my buddies tell me to get the steel series Ikari, but i wanted to know your opinions as well! Thank you in advance :]

Edited 1: So a lot of people are saying the logitech G500. I'm wondering how it compares to the steel series ikari laser? Because my friend probably wouldn't be fidgeting with the programmable buttons as much, so i would probably go for a good mouse that is very very comfortable preferably.
