Guys of Reddit: How many orgasms does it take before you feel "empty"?

I know it can vary by the orgasm... But, my SO says it usually takes him 3 orgasms before he truly feels "empty." Is this normal?

Also, when he shoots a lot of cum (inevitably, shoots really far), then that orgasm seems more effective at feeling "empty" than a normal one.

Trying to wrap my mind around this.
