What courier should I use to send an expensive laptop with?

I've noticed some couriers mention that they will send them on a non-compensation basis, I'm not even to sure what that means.

I obviously need insurance on this item for damage/loss. It will be sent within the UK to the UK.

Anyone know of a good courier to use for this (thats not £50)?
