I must be too unattractive to garner your attention.

I am becoming very bitter towards women as of late. I am a guy that has held himself to be for - 'one woman only'. I have been wrong in the past, I have made mistakes and thought I was with someone whom I thought was my partner for life. But I haven't lost my belief - that there is ONE person out there for me.

In many ways I feel like I am a Disney construct, looking for that one woman to ignite a spark in me so I can pursue her with every atom I am composed of... But lately, for the last few months... I feel like women are after ONE thing, 'HOTNESS'. Who cares if he treats you bad, only has a one-night stand, or calls you once a week for fifteen minutes. He is good looking yeah? His babies won't do that to your daughters, yeah?

I feel like I am a good guy... I have a very lucrative job that I spent years in school working for. I am an engineer, so no, I am not a drug addict or reject, or anything but someone that is working for you! I want to keep moving up in my field because I have insight and creativity that seems to be very useful for my company. It is something I feel very valued and respected for.

But why is it I feel turned down before I even get started? I have such enjoyable and fun conversations with you ladies, but I feel like I am shutdown the moment I get started. I am falling just short of appearing on the five o'clock news in my teddy bear underpants, trying to get a date with you.... WHY is this such a challenge?
