CCNA Lab Question

So, I've been doing some research over the past month, and am about to buy some routers and switches to work on.

(I know from searching previous threads that no actual equipment is needed for the CCNA, and that r/networking is generally in favour of GNS3 over real equipment..... I find I learn better when I have something nearby to kick/throw stuff at)

The kit I'm looking at is:

• 3x 1721 routers (yeah, not stackable & external power supply, i know)
• 3x WIC-2T Serial modules
• 3x Smart Serial Cables
• 2x 2950 Switches.

I'm fine with my budget for this. Is there anything here that I will instantly regret, or am overlooking? Is there anything I should spend a little more on?
