Scared to discuss PCOS with doctor

I had a routine examine earlier this year and used that time to bring up my concerns about maybe having PCOS with my gyno. I told her about my excessive body hair growth, acne, and depression (which I've heard can be a symptom), and she asked if my periods were irregular. I told her they weren't, but I think I made a mistake. I figured having periods that come anywhere between 28-40 days isn't that irregular.

She told me I shouldn't worry, that I probably don't have PCOS. I'd like to bring it up with her again though, this time mentioning my periods, but I'm scared. She kind of talks to me like I'm an idiot, so I'm embarrassed and don't want her to look down on me or anything. Is this even worth mentioning again or should I suck it up and ask her?
