[Troubleshooting] Need help badly. Have a fractal arc midi, and the usb 2.0 front panel connector is proving impossible to insert.

Should it take a lot of pressure to fully insert it into the mobo? I'm thinking it shouldn't so I'm betting the problem is that the wires containing the 'receptors' for the pins of the usb front panel connectoraren't matching up when I try to plug them in, thus causing the heavy resistance.

Anyway I can fix this? I've been trying to coil the wires so that the 'receptors' line up nicely and try to get lucky and hope all 8 pins meet all 8 'receptors' in one go, but no luck so far.
