I just heard that in April my ex girlfriend was pregnant and had a miscarriage. Whats the most shocking/wtf news you've ever heard?

So tonight I was just coming home from vacation with my family when u get a text from my ex who I broke up with in April. She says that we need to talk and I just thought it'd be nothing. Turns out she was pregnant when I dumped her but she didn't want to say anything because she didn't want to sound like she wanted my attention. Turns out a week later she loses it. Seeing that I'm just turning 18 within the next month and she's 16 I nearly had a heart attack. What's some of your stories that shocked you like this reddit?
