Get medieval on your ass! (Win a Lo)

Sometime soon (next few weeks) there will be a series of events in the following format:

Event: Jousting tournament

Character: Softcore Level 30 Paladin

Item requirements: Pike or Lance

  • Very simple, two paladins charge at each other

  • No mercenaries

  • Obviously, you probably won't die from one joust at level 30, so combatants must back up to the starting positions and charge again (no potions or healing)

  • The victor moves onto the next round (i.e. typical tournament progression)

  • Twink up your character!

  • edit: 5 rounds per battle or first to 3 wins

Event: Boner battle

Character: Softcore level 18 Necromancer

Item requirements: None

  • A free-for-all with necromancers only allowed to use bone spear to kill each other

  • Mana potions are allowed, but not health

  • No golems or mercenaries

  • edit: The battlegrounds will not be your usual Blood Moor

Event: Running the gauntlet

Character: Hardcore Sorceress

Item requirements: No items allowed

  • Premise is simple: start a new level 1 character and see how far you can run through Act 1

  • Character must be freshly created

Regarding finding good times for each event, all of this doesn't have to happen on the same day so battles may start on the 18th and finish up on the Sunday (22nd), for example (haven't locked in that week as the event week). Jousting can be done in many games as they are 1v1 so no fuss there.

The winner of each event gets 10 points, second 5, third 3, fourth 2 and fifth 1.

Prizes:

First place: Lo

Second place: Vex

Third place: Ist

If we have more than seven or so contestants, I'll figure out some things to decide events that aren't 1v1. You don't have to enter all three events, although you should.

I realize shit happens and some people might not be able to make it to a free-for-all event at the time it will be organized for. Deserters will get a complimentary cracked sash.
