[Build Ready] Some gaming, some processing. ~$1000. Any tips?

Can you all look this over? I'll be using this for some gaming (FPS mostly), but mostly for application performance (large, top-heavy applications -- not video processing, but number crunching). I feel as though I am not getting enough bang for my buck for some reason. Was going to go the LGA2011 route, but then saw how little there is out there and how expensive it is. There don't seem to be any solid NVIDIA cards out there at the moment (not really willing to go Radeon route due to past issues). Am I wrong? Is this worth the price?

I built a 2500k machine for a buddy of mine back in February, and loved the Twin Frozer III, so I went for that. Got MicroCenter price for CPU and already have that CPU Cooler and enough HDDs. Will buy 2 200mm fans for the HAF 912 (1 on top blowing out, one in front blowing in, 1x120mm on back blowing out). 80 PLUS Silver PSU seems like it would have negligible difference from 80 GOLD. No onboard 1394 is killing me, but wasn't willing to pay $50 more for it.

Any other suggestions before I go ahead with this?
