Help identifying a movie....

I only saw one scene on TV when I was very young, and I changed the channel as fast as I could.

A guy is in bed. Something appears underneath the sheets; you see it from his point of view. A bump moving around under the covers. It eventually gets to his crotch area, and he pulls back the sheet whilst freaking out. It's the top of a humanoid-monsters head! The monster then lifts up out of the bed. Like it is on an elevator in the middle of the mattress! It's looking at the guy the whole time. Click away to Nickelodeon.

The best way I can describe the humanoid is orange, and black coloring, with a skin texture as that of bearded lizard, or gila monster. I also remember fin-like things on his head. I wouldn't necessarily trust my memory on this. I was less than 5 years old.

In case it helps: I was born in 1986
