Polypro LED hoops?

I know polypro is more prone to cracking and breaking, but I really want to get a polypro Helix hoop sometime in the near future. Have any of you with polypro LED hoops had issues with them cracking/breaking? Also if anyone has a helix hoop either in HDPE or polypro can you let me know what you think of it? Any advice on this matter would be appreciated! :)
