Are Ghillie suits bugged atm?.

I'm not sure if this is something new to 1.7.2 or not. I just found my first ghillie suit and when I went to put it on, while I was in the changing animation, I warped out to sea for a split-second and then warped back to where I was standing. I had not changed clothes and when I went to check my inventory, all the items I was carrying were gone. Not the items in my backpack but everything I was carrying on my person. Both my guns,ammo,food were completely gone. I tried to log out before my inventory saved but I guess I wasn't fast enough.

Is this new?.
