Until the launch, games that you have made with the intent to post to Greenlight can be posted as a self post!

This is to allow some users to get some early exposure for games they want to submit to Greenlight. It also gives the community a chance to get an idea of how discussions about a game will work.

However, to make a self post for the game, you are required to give the following (as taken from the announcement by Steam):

• Box cover image

• at least 1gameplay video

• at least 4 screenshots or images

• Written description and system requirements

• Gameplay demo or concept if available

This temporary set up lasts only until Greenlight becomes available, at which point all games must be Greenlight posts.
