I Need a Little Bit of Help

Hello R/Design,

I hope this is an appropriate place to ask for some help, I assume a lot of you are professional or employed designers and I really wouldn't know a better place to get access to such information.

I'm an 18 year old aspiring designer and I may be looking at getting paid for what I love to do for the very first time. I have applied for a job where the employer has asked for 10 DVD cover designs as well as 2 hours of photography for the covers. She has also asked me to name my price and I really don't know how much would be appropriate.

So I'm asking you guys, if you were asked to produce 10 DVD covers (with 2 hours of photography thrown in there) what would be an appropriate price to ask for.

I am in no way a professional, I'm just a self taught high school graduate.

tl;dr how much can I ask a potential employer for the task of designing 10 DVD covers.
