Quick question about Berries and SRing

I'm currently waiting on berries to grow (I'm trying to evolve a Feebas), but even the quickest berry has a 3 hour timer between growth stages. Gen III Ruby.

My question is; can I soft reset in Mossdeep City and still water the berries 3 hours later?
