Took 230k € (~ 282k usd) apartment loan with my gf. Some feedback on numbers appreciated. (FIN)

Hi reddit,

I would like to get some comments/advise/comfort on my situation. I need someone to tell me that I'm doing the right/wrong thing. I really sometimes stop to wonder if we are doing the right thing.

Info below:

Me

Age: 22 Studies: Just out from university Profession: Software engineer Salary = 3000€/month (~ 3600 usd)

GF

Age: 20 Studies: Graduating next year Profession: Soon to be public health nurse Salary = Probably going to be around 2600€/month (~3200 usd) after graduating

About the loan: The apartment is not ready yet, so we pay it gradually as its constructed. Basically no significant interest on the loan before the house is ready in late 2013. We start paying the debt fully when the apartment is finished. My GF will have a job by then also (in Finland the public health sector is very secure for natives). According to the loan, we pay around 1400€/month (~1720 usd) in total of the loan. Total interest is 2,4% (bank's margin 0.8%).

About our financial situation: We have no other debts. I save 500€/month in total (savings account + funds). My GF is not saving before she graduates.
