I'd really like to ask you guys some questions.

Hey there. I found this subreddit a few weeks ago by accident. I've searched for and took many MBTI and other tests on the internet and am now quite certain I am indeed an INTJ. Some tests gave me a certainty above 95%. However I am 21 years old right now, not 14 or something. Which means, as you can all probably imagine, that during all those years I've done a lot of thinking on why I am who I am. And over the years, I have had many many theories. For example at first I just blamed other people, then I thought I simply lacked social experience, then I pinned it all on autism and asperger's. And now I am here.

I'm curious to what extent other people here feel like being INTJ is like geneticly and biologicly defined? Is it the real reason why we are who we are? Or is it actually the consequence of some other factors?

It seems like I have always had the wrong idea in my head, but of course I did always act accordingly. Each time I changed the theory, I changed my actions too. This latest month has been extremely confusing for me and it got me down. That's why I decided to go see a doctor and he gave me a phone number of a good psychologist. I just called her half an hour ago, thinking it would probably be a month until I could see her. But now I'm going to see her this friday. I wanted to ask if there's anyone that has experience with going to seek help while knowing about being INTJ and MBTI? You can always sent a PM if you'd like to. I'd really appreciate it!

I don't know, I think I'm just quite oblivious as to what I should do now. If anyone has anything to say whatsoever, that would be greatly appreciated. It would mean a lot. Thanks guys!
