My Little Success Story
This may sound hilarious in your view, but my little sister who's 9 thought the show was for 6 year olds and less. What did she do when she found out I was a brony? Laughed in my 14 year old face and called me a baby, I knew I'd get this reaction from anyone, but my 9 year old sister? I expected her to at the very least have a look. This went on for a long time where she'd snigger at me while I was watching the show.
Until you guys showed her the way, that is. Yep, that's right! r/mylittlepony convinced her to give the show a go (from the pictures and comics,) now she's hooked and always pesters me to download some more episodes for her. (We have limited internet so this is sometimes a problem, so I usually download them at the library or my mum's friend's house. I think she's on Series 1 - Ep. 14 now, she usually watches them before me though so I'm a few episodes behind. It really has brought us together as brother and sister though, I browse the sub-reddit with her and it's so cool I can share MLP with someone who gets all the jokes and actually likes the show.
I've got to say my favourite episodes so far are Dragonshy and Bridle Gossip. I love Dragonshy because it's pretty cute and fluttershy is amazing at the end of the episode, I absolutely love her. Bridle Gossip is what I'm up to so far and the episode not only introduces a unique, new character but it's also hilarious, again, Fluttershy excels in this episode. "I don't wanna talk about it..." had be rocking on the floor laughing, I absolutely love that episode and it is probably the funniest of what I've seen so far. I think it's because all the ponies' characteristics are turned against them, it just feels like all of them were turned on their heads.
I just thought I might share this because it really makes me happy to watch MLP with my sister.
