Enlisting soon, looking on info for different rates and ship life.

I plan on talking to a recruiter/ signing into MEPS pretty soon, so I figured I would ask for some general info like so many others here. I got a 94 on the ASVAB, and I near aced the electronics portion of the test. Will this make my DEP time shorter? Anyhow, I got a pretty decent list of interesting rates, and I figured if anyone has some experience, they can kinda tell me a rough idea of what its all about. Obviously, not too specific, but, well, you know what I'm saying.

AC - Air Traffic Controller

AT - Aviation Electronics Technician

IS - Information Specialist

I am also looking towards something to deal with telecommunications or radar.

Also, how is life on the ship? How often does one come to a port? How long does one stay on liberty until leaving port again?

I'll probably have more questions as these get answered.

Best.
