Going to Gamescom from Denmark

Hi everyone, due to an operation scheduled for later this year, I will not be starting at a university until next year but all my friends are starting their next step in the educational process.

This leaves me in a sad situation, because I'm officially the only one who has the time and money to travel to Gamescom in Cologne, so I'll just ask openly here if anyone is going there and want to meet up, or if anyone is traveling from Denmark and want to travel together.

My plans so far is to travel via train to Cologne, and hopefully be there thursday evening, then staying at either Hotel Skada City(a hotel about 1km from the Koelnmesse area) or Hotel Alt Deutz City-Messe-Arena(also very close the the area) until late saturday / early sunday, and then going back home in time for work monday.

I'm open for suggestions and such :)
