How do you make a realistic movie about Superman?

My idea is posted in the comments. It's based on the idea that Superman is the negative image of Batman. In TDK, Batman discovers that he must do what is right, even if he's hated for it. Superman has the opposite curse - he must be perfect in image, even if it means he isn't doing what's right in conduct.
