Navajo Chant Was Included on the "Golden Record" aboard NASA's Voyager 1 & 2 Spacecraft.

The Voyager 1 and 2 Spacecraft, launched in 1977, were sent out to explore the cosmos, and are currently located in the Heliosheath, more distant from the Sun than Pluto. Each craft is carrying a "Golden Record," a selection of sounds from our planet for the education of intelligent alien life.

According to the NASA website for Voyager, the records contain the following bit of Navajo music: "Navajo Indians, Night Chant, recorded by Willard Rhodes. 0:57"
