Hacker or new glitch?

This happened just a few minutes ago.

I was going to stary sobor to find some nice gear, I came from the north so I had a great view on the whole area, this was night time, I had night vision goggles and an m16. I sat in a bush, scouting out the area. After sitting there for around 5 minutes, just cheking out the area, out of nowhere I died! My legs broke, my character screamed in pain, I got -50000 blood in a split second. No gun shot, not a sound. Just instant death.

This has never happened before. Seconds after I died some other player got like 20 error messages, (showing in red text in the chat). So I dont know if this was a sniper (which I very much doubt), a hacker, or some new glitch. Has anyone experienced this before?

I am quite upset about the whole thing because I had some great gear on this character and dying to a glitch or a hacker is awful...
