Is this error from the TV or my Roku Ultra? It comes up every time I start the TV. LG OLED55A1PUA

Looks like the tv detected it as a compatible CEC enabled device.
Go into tv settings and look for Inputs or Display. Find the CEC option and see if the Roku is listed, if not add or enable for the Roku and you shouldn't get that message again.
Hope that helps
Fixed! Looks like it was a bad HDMI cable connector preventing the TV from seeing or remembering the Roku after rebooting. Thanks again for the help!

It is from your TV. You are using LG's magic remote which can operate the TV as well as other devices. But it needs to "pair" with the other device, in this case the Roku Ultra.

So how do I get it to stop appearing every time I start the TV? I have gone through every option such as re-setting it up (accept), declining it and blocking it.
I believe in settings there is an option to disable this... Maybe press the button on the remote right next to power button on the right. That takes you into the magic remote section.
It is 100% possible to disable it in settings but I do not remember it anymore. I am sorry.
Thank you for the help. I don't see a button next to the power button, (remote model number mr21ga) but I will see what I can do.
