Another woman's life taken by insecure men, in a land where we're "privileged and put on a pedestal". And of course, men will blame the woman.

Why do they let anyone who commited violence out on bail? Makes no sense.
Oh yeah we just dramatize and imagine stuff like this apparently
Ah yes. She should've predicted this would happen. It's her fault for not being able to see the future and getting with him to begin with.

Welch in Michigan, huh?
Great. Probably a distant relative via the Indiana branch of the Welch family.

Of course the last line of this is still… don’t make yourself a victim.
As if these horrible people make their red flags present right away 🙄 like obviously we should make sure we don’t get with someone who will end up doing this, so lines like what is at the end come off as really victim blame-y. Like it’s 100% on the person who was raped and murdered to make sure they don’t get raped and murdered..
I am sure some will go “the abuse has been going on for years! she should have just escaped!” next which.. no matter what kind of abuse, verbal, physical etc… all too often there is the environment of feeling like you can’t get out, or it’s “normal” because of being in a household that had the same/similar going on with their parents.
