  1. There's plenty of space, just look in google maps. There's a huge area with plenty of beaches.
  2. No idea. Only tourists usually rent thoses when they have it in beaches. Maybe there's one or two beaches with those in Costa, but I don't remember. We usually just take a cheap 5€ umbrella and set our towels in the sand.
  3. Yea, not ideal to go to Costa da Caparica, since you probably gonna have to take a metro too in Lisbon, but you can just take the bus 3710 from Sete Rios. Or you can also cross the river in Belém to Trafaria, and then walk 30 minutes. Or just call an uber and pay like 15€

If your intention is to spend a chill day there Id recommend checking "São João beach" it has everything that you mentioned and in my opinion higher quality when compared to the others. It might not be as easy to get there as a visitor but so worth it.

Beaches are vast so no problem there, only problem is transportation and specially HEAVY traffic. Other than that, you will find everything you asked as long as you have the money for it . Enjoy, the beaches are beautiful

Those beaches aren't as easily accessible as the ones west of Lisbon that's why they're less crowded.

There are buses from Lisbon, iirc the fare should be around 3€ per person so if you're 4 check uber prices. Be ready for a lot of traffic crossing the bridge during weekends. The bus company is called TST look for buses from Praça de Espanha or Sete Rios to Costa da Caparica.

All beaches have a concession bar, now not all of the bars have beach equipment. I'd check on maps the names of the bars and look them up online

There's always street vendors in the busiest beaches which are closer to Costa da Caparica. The bars further away from Costa da Caparica are more likely to have beach equipment for you to rent.

I second this, São João is dope.

When it comes to prices, it's around 20€-25€ to rent an umbrella and two beach beds for a whole day and there's usually plenty of space.

You can take the boat in Belém to Trafaria, then you have buses or you can walk, go by bike or by uber/taxi to São João beach. The boat trip is cheap. Here you have a lot of space, sun loungers, restaurants, etc. I recommend it

Hey, on Costa da Caparica you can easily find a space, but be careful with public transportation from beach to back to Lisbon because sometimes the app can say that the bus (3710) will arrive and then you find yourself waiting one hour at the bus stop, especially on weekends and nothing is coming. Happened to me many times already 😅The good thing is that the Uber or bolt are not so expensive to go back to Lisbon :)
