initial reactions to the manifesto

But... how can we say the league is shit and come back for more if the league isn't out?

Hey now, some people apparently don't come back and actually play, they just post about the game for years afterwards like a bitter ex.

To be fair, I never said I wasn't gonna play, I can still hate on their decisions. Def hate getting weaker.

I didn't like the lack of balance changes or new skill gems in the last patch. As a consequence of that I played the last league far less than the one before it, even though I enjoyed the Sentinel mechanic more.

With what they've announced so far, I find myself in a similar situation. I don't mind nerfs, but the buffs to other skills so far don't excite me much.

And I'm not talking about Cleave which has been memed about a lot already, I mean stuff like Holy Relic and HoP which are builds I've played a fair bit already. The issue is that their buffs to these skills are outweighed by other nerfs.

So, I guess my point is that even though I'm sure there are players who fit your image, I expect most of the complainers are similar to me. They'll still play, just with less enthusiasm each league. And I'm sure that'll translate to reduced MTX sales too.

I hope the patch notes have a lot more content, aside from whatever the league mechanic has.
