Isn't SFO contract screening, not TSA proper??
Even though they are contractors, they are trained identically to TSA, following the same SOPs as TSA.
Is what happened in this video SOP or was there some deviation / inexperience going on?? Seemed a bit excessive, but I can't say, as I'm not a screener...
He was doing the procedure properly, but he was either getting caught on something on the passenger's pants or was using more pressure than needed and getting stuck from friction with his gloves.
This is 100% more pressure than needed and the gloves sticking. If you watch, he pushed the passenger back with the force he is using for the patdown, and the part that gets cut off at the end you can see his entire pant leg coming up a couple inches when he does the inner thigh. The pants should move slightly yes, but not to that extent.
Ok... glad I have Precheck and no metal implants... Thank you for the clarification!!
As far as I know they were. Even had SFO specific uniforms.
They are, and that guy is wearing it. Covenant, the contractor which does screening at SFO, has nearly identical uniforms to TSA, just with different patches and the epaulettes say CAS instead of TSA.
Oh my bad, the patch on his right shoulder is the same and I didn’t even notice the shoulder boards.
My BS Meter has pegged. As much as I detest the TSA gropings and the apathy of multiple congresses to do anything about it, I see lots of stuff out of the ordinary:
Idk man what he got hooked on going down with his hands but it was to many times. But the dudes bulge is really obvious on those sweats
Oh no! A STSO being recorded doing a proper patdown
Ah ha ha, fucking Tok Tik generation.
Bruh that guys bulge is pretty obvious
