I'm guessing Ten Hag doesn't know / want him, and even so for him to not have a club for this long says a lot.
Belotti didn’t want to leave Italy and is set to sign for Roma. Monaco nearly signed him at the start of the window but he changed his mind on leaving Italy.

Very unpopular opinion and I'm willing to take my down votes here but Belotti is not a EtH system fitting forward, primarily; and second, the more important thing here is there's a reason he's a free agent at 28. He's absolutely bad, to very huge levels and has dipped since his early breakthrough days. Both arnautovic and Belotti would be absolutely crappy signings, let's just put it that way.

Think this was such an obvious target as soon as Cavani was clear he’d be leaving, he’s experienced he’s been a leader at Torino, yeah his English probably isn’t great and he’s no amazing striker but would be a brilliant pick up, but looks like he’s going to Roma.

If you go through all the years of all the top footballing nations that had representation in the PL… Brazilians, Argentines, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch and German, list them out and stack them against Italian players throughout the years it does not compare.
