Advice for a beginner

So, I'm looking to get started on my wonderful, foresty journey. I've toked a few times from mates, but I'm not in contact with any of them any more.

Trouble is, as total noob, I have NO idea how to go about this. Who to talk to, how to talk to them, how much stuff is.>>>
