Is Your Sink Working Ok?

people ask me that a lot

and I don’t know what to say.

the tap is always dripping

the handles are pretty loose

the faucet isn’t shiny

and the pressure is too low

but that question is a trick

asked without a wrench in hand

with no knowledge of plumbing

and with no intention to fix my sink

they seem to ask only to remind me

that my sink needs fixing.

that my sinks loose handles

and the constant

drip drip drip

is a burden on everyone around it.
