So as we’re stuck with MW22 for 2 years, if the games chalked how many of you will personally stick the game out?

Cdl should run back bo3 for the one time
All I know is if the game isn’t good, the CDL is in bigggggg trouble. Could see a lot of the veterans retire, could see a lot of fans stop watching (due to players retiring or the game just isn’t fun), and that could lead to losing fans for the following game. All because the developers don’t give af about competitive.
I agree. Not even just lose fans for the following CoD or anything but they'd lose fans to competing games. Imagine if Scump left and all he played was Halo or Battlefield or something lol (those games suck too but still)
I will
Havent bought a cod game in 4 years. Dont plan on starting. Will watch competitive though regardless
Will watch comp but playing sporadically. Probably gonna play from launch to april/may and then playing a few times. Just depends what the rest of the game is like. I chalked MW but I loved playing Ground War with my friends because it was chill and funny
I’ll still watch but we’ll see how much I enjoy the game. I only lasted about a month playing vanguard but I still stuck around to watch every match & major
I’ll always enjoy playing ranked, just maybe not as often. Luckily I don’t really have time to play very much anymore, so I don’t really get burned out. I still find vanguard fun in small doses
I’d still watch but if the game was that bad I would try to still play ranked but if not just hope WZ2 is good or play Valorant full time
Honestly, even with a few broken mechanics, if the game has decent maps and dead silence as a perk (or balanced footstep audio in general), I can stick it out and enjoy it for the most part
If there’s the ranked system that was in vanguard I will play it
i like playing cod, so i’ll be playing cod for two years don’t care how bad the game is. We just played MW2019 and Vanguard so if it has Ranked i’m grinding
I’ll always watch comp cod even if I’m not playing the current title, but if it is truly terrible I will probably just fully switch over to Rocket League.
Should have just completely remastered Mw2. Not understanding this whole “MWll” and the 2019 Modern Warfare direction at all. If not a remastered Mw2 or any great cod, just make an actually good and well thought out Cod lol (too much to ask..I know..lol)
Usually I grind the game heavily from release to about February and then if I like it I’ll keep playing, but if not then I’ll play sporadically. As far as CDL and challengers go, I’ll watch them no matter what.
I haven’t bought a cod since MW but I actually think I’d be more likely to try one out and see how the game evolves through a longer cycle
Not a lot
Say what you will about the game but to me there’s absolutely no way MW2 can be even close to how trash Vanguard is so I’m excited for the game regardless
Didn’t we say that about MW? 😂
I will watch the games for as long as the CDL survives. I will play the game the first month and then stop and occasionally play warzone with my friends. Then when ranked comes out I will play for another month then stop. Like clockwork baby.
I have a feeling we’ll get a BO2/BO3 remaster after year 1 of MWII
No chance, MW3 campaign probably
great question!
I for one will stick to watching pro scene. i love call of duty. As for playing it... i really don't know. I only play Ranked so, if it is ok, considering treyarc is leading on this one, i'll give it more than a fair shot
