Why did Saudi Arabia AND Iran decide to both be part of OPEC and price their oil in dollars, even though the two are staunch enemies, and this bolsters the US?
It seems like Iran wouldn’t want to strengthen the US dollar and participate in an arrangement that also benefits Saudi Arabia. Why would they do so?
