This is the first poem I've intentionally written. Saw a man sitting in a coffee shop with the blankest expression so I decided to give writing about it a shot.
I saw him,
Sitting at the center of the universe.
One man's gaze
Met one thousand yard stares.
His body stuck, unbothered.
Who could blame him?
The man at the center of the universe
Has nothing to do but everything.
Thanks to David. The 72 yr old Jewish professor who was busy answering the universe's questions in that coffee shop seat.
