3d printed silicone glass adapter
Anyone have any experience with 3d printing? A silicone glass adapter for the core 2 so it could fit peak glass would allow for so many more glass options.
Something similar to the high five duo adapter. Link

i think most peak glass will fit the core ,, its tight but fits
Goddamn your quick lol. Love how active you are here. Always recommend DT because of your amazing customer service.
In my experience it's a bit loose. Maybe I just need to try a few different tops.
I'm currently just using an elastic band to keep my current top secure lol.
You can use the extra o-ring that came with the core 2.0 to stretch over the peak glass and it'll stay on okay. I wasn't really satisfied with the travel glass on the core 2.0 though.
I'd be afraid of using something 3D printed because 3D prints aren't really food safe. There's the potential for lead and I have no idea if that has the potential to transfer into the mold and then silicone. Some people replace certain parts of their printer, print, and cover the print in resin, but that would make the mold less accurate. It would also be possible to print it directly in tpu, but you still have the same potential for lead.
Thanks for the info. I was thinking that but wasn't sure on the safety of 3d printed stuff and was under the impression it was 100% silicone.
Lead potential sounds scary af. I'll try that o ring trick.
I may be overly paranoid about it, not sure.
I’ve experienced the opposite. A bit loose. Useable but can’t pick up by glass. Atleast ones I’ve tried (6-7 different tops)
