Week in Edmonton. What must I see and do?

Me and some friends are flying up to Edmonton to see a concert later this month. I know very little about the city besides the West Edmonton Mall. What are the must see attractions? What do you suggest?

If you like being outside, we've got a pretty awesome river valley. Rent some bikes and go down the trail either direction. There are a lot of parks along the way, but not many businesses or restaurants, so you should bring a picnic.

On Saturdays there are farmers markets on the south side and on 104th street downtown. I prefer the downtown one, but both are pretty interesting.

There is a sweet highway called the QE II get on that and drive 300 km south, you'll have much more fun!

Kidding aside, the have their annual expo from the 20th-29th - Capital Ex
