My company HAS NO ON CALL!!! We have a night and weekend shift that, during my interview, I told them I wasn't interested in and they said ok. I get to go home and TURN OFF MY F-ING WORK PHONE!!!! Would have worked for them at $10 less an hour for no on call. New truck. 14% commission on sales. Like a sore dick, it's hard to beat! Lol

First time in 18 years I'm not on call!!! Much respect to those who still are on call!! But I don't miss it one bit

Here I am like an idiot doing preventative maintenance on a Saturday.

Almost as good as doing PM on a Saturday after business hours.

I love never being on call

Me too, I get forced OT as per our union contract but I find out while I'm working. If I'm home, I'm clear.

The only benefit to residential retrofit is having weekends most of the time

I'd also like to say not having as long as hours as the service guys.

Sales bid 3 days for 2 systems to one with new ductwork. Took 4 days including today.

Too long for my company..doesn't matter what it is, full install, change out with all new duct, condensor change out...everythings gotta get done in a day.." work your magic" is what we get to here... then on top of that none of our service guys ever fkn show up for work so 99% of the time I'm doing service after as well! Why do I stay with this company u ask? Idfk

My phone is always on do not disturb. I haven't taken it off DnD in 3 years.

I'm on call once every 12 weeks and the majority of our customers are not open on the weekends so it's a pretty easy gig

I’m on call 4 times a year. I do back to back weeks so no on call the rest of the year for this guy 😁😁

What weeks do you end up being on call for? Or does sort of rotate each year?
