Two Resources
Here are two resources that I think many on this subreddit will enjoy.
https://www.gurbani.org/gurblog/ This blog emphasizes the whole point of Gurbani is to do veechar of it and internalize it. Using it as the yardstick by which you judge your own character. It rejects miracles, chanting, and ritualism to the umpteenth degree. I find it very helpful in the battle against the mind. Although I think it tends to reduce Gurbani too much to the level of psychology.
https://thesikhrenaissance.substack.com/ The second here is highly indebted to the above resource and how I found out about the first one. However, this is a great substack and podcast they do deep dives on the history of Sikhi, as well as, showing Sikhi to be the antidote to the decadent, decaying, and corrupting modern world. Although they do emphasizes that the rot has gotten pretty bad within Sikhi as well. They also provide an outline of what effective Sikh leadership might look like with a realpolitik bent.
Both are highly critical of the "Pujaaree systems" they see to be currently in place.

gurbani.org blog is great. we should contact them.
I thought you would like it! I'm not sure how active he (still?) is, no dates on the posts, but he does seem to respond to comments.
yea. the website seems like a basic 90s text layout (not complaining). seems like someones labor of love. Lets try to connect with this monk. We should try to find others like him. on foot if we have to.
