Rant

this is gonna be long. i’m a freshman in college who is sick of this place. i’ve worked here for 2 years and i’m not saying this job was ever perfect, but this location NEEDS to be shut down. i’m trying to get my 30 days of leave approved with sedgwick and store leadership has been so unhelpful. they never tell me who approves it or what will happen, and quite frankly the whole management team at my location is a mess. we don’t get 30’s or last 10’s anymore- complete violation that they expect just to not be reported. ALL of our staff (i work in SS) has walked out, stopped showing up, or formally quit. there are 5 people left on the payroll. i’ve told leadership im either getting leave on the 6th or im simply done working here. we have hired a supervisor who has been reported for sexual harassment and has TERRIBLE hoarding tendencies to the point we have had our amazon returns be SENT BACK because they can’t figure them out. customers are so rude and entitled that i have almost outright walked out due to a lack of support from my team. no more prepared foods staff, barely any grocery, and rotten produce. no one else on my team understands how bad the circumstances are because of their lack of time here, so hopefully you all can understand. i feel bad for the people who rely on this place as their full time income because of how obvious it is that this place will be closing.
