On a trial of Ritalin rn should I be worried about how much it increases my Heart Rate?

Hi I’ve never posted in this community before but I’ve had an adhd dx for a minute but just started trying meds again after a terrible experience with adderall.

My psych has me on 10mg of Ritalin and it’s been 45 days. I’m trying to go to sleep now and my HR is between 84-87bpm and it’s just uncomfortable and I’ve had insomnia this entire time. It also increases my anxiety even though I take anxiety meds. In the middle of the day my HR is anywhere from 94-103 and I don’t think that’s normal for me. My blood pressure has been perfect in the two or three doctors visits I’ve had since starting the medication though.

I feel no improvements, which is kinda what I expected bc it’s an introductory 10mg before school starts for me again and I have real obligations, but I’m pretty uncomfortable with this constant anxiety and insomnia…Idk what to do next because it seems like everyone who tried meds here found luck with adderall or Ritalin :(
