if your parents can fully support you, don’t. you’ll miss out on a lot of things.

(this is coming from a mcdo crew student with an engineering degree)

pero if you really want to, try to do part time na wfh setup para di hassle magcommute to work

mahirap if full time job na call center ka tas demanding pa course mo. Di rin biro call center lalo na pag sa toxic na account ka napunta. If mahirap yung course mo and di ka magaling mag manage ng time, mag part time ka na lang. May mga bpo naman na tumatanggap ng part time.

As much as possible, try to find a job that can accommodate your school sched. My previous job at Starbucks accommodated my school sched and lenient sila kapag may school events as long as you notify the supervisors pero I tried to squeeze my subjects into maximum of 3 days so I can work 4 days a week. Have you considered freelancing esp project based?

sharing my experience lang when i applied sa bpo last june: hindi lahat ng bpo company tumatanggap ng current student bilang employee. nung nag-initial interview ako, tinanong ako kung anong year natapos ko sa college (kasi nilagay ko yung univ ko sa resume) and i answered na incoming 2nd year ako. the interviewer told me that they won't proceed with my application for the time being kasi nag aaral pa raw ako and they don't want full time employees juggling work and school at the same time. baka raw ma-stress lang ako nang todo and be depressed, which of course, affects the quality of service i give to callers and will reflect on the company's reputation as a whole.

unless gipit na gipit ka talaga, i don't recommend working sa bpo while studying. my sibling is currently working at a bpo and sobrang fucked up ng body clock niya. di na siya nag aaral but imagine how much harder it'll be kung estudyante ka rin at the same time. nagkaroon din siya ng katrabaho last year na college student na nag-AWOL daw kasi hindi niya kinaya pagsabayin yung trabaho tsaka studies.

Hi, mayroon naman din pong schools that can accommodate working students. I'm currently a student at informatics and i have classmates na nagwowork na, flexible naman ung class schedule and the school makes it a point talaga for working students to still get their degree. Sana makahelp :) https://informatics.edu.ph/admissions-page/

you can also look into virtual assistance if call centers doesn't work out for you!
